The location is prime, right in the heart of downtown with easy access to shops and restaurants. Breakfast delivery to your room includes delicious options like quiche and freshly baked pastries, making mornings a delight.
Noise from the first floor can be quite disruptive. I heard footsteps and other guests late at night, which felt like living in an old apartment. The heater made irregular loud noises that affected my sleep, and parking is a hassle during busy weekends, as there are more rooms than spaces available. On top of that, I noticed some outdated furnishings that didn't match the charm of the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing local dining gems like Flying Fish Grill and Mundaka Restaurant, serving up delightful dishes that truly captured the essence of Carmel! Plus, the location allowed for sweet strolls to charming cafes like Rise + Roam Bakery. Our room was spacious and perfect for our family getaway.
Just a heads up, the heater was a bit noisy and we dealt with some odd carbon monoxide alarm issues. The morning staff didn’t really address our concerns, leaving us feeling a little on edge, but the overall experience was still pleasant.

We had an awesome time with friends exploring nearby kayaking and sailing. The location was perfect to walk to shops and restaurants, and the breakfast delivered to our room was a lovely perk. Just a heads up, if you're a light sleeper, you might want to opt for a second-floor room to minimize noise from downstairs.
We were woken up early by noises from the basement, which didn't help with our sleep.

The location is ideal, offering easy walks to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. We loved the spacious room equipped with a kitchenette and a cozy lounge area. Complimentary water bottles and fresh fruits were a nice touch, as were the well-stocked lobby snacks. However, noise from above was disruptive during our stay, and parking was limited. It can be frustrating to circle the area looking for a spot, especially on busy weekends.
